When using OpenCode with Paperclip, the agent needs user approval for various tool operations like reading/writing files. If the user isn't actively monitoring the terminal, the permission request is either timed out or explicitly rejected. This causes the agent to fail its tasks even though there's no actual technical problem.

OpenCode's security model requires interactive user approval for tool calls. This works fine when you're actively watching, but breaks automation when you're not there to press 'y' for every action.
